Vrelo-Borici

‘Vrelo-Borici’ is an outstanding picnic area, about 300 m from the centre of Sokobanja. The picnic area Vrelo used to be a chic picnic spot, where iconic writers, actors, artists, politicians and members of the Karadjordjevic royal family gathered.

The trail connects Vrelo to the Borici picnic area, which is equipped with benches, tables and playground equipment for children. It is suitable for children and adults who have respiratory issues, as there is a high concentration of negative ions in the air. There is the Hajduk memorial fountain, dedicated to Hajduk Veljko Petrovic, and there is also the multifunctional complex ‘Vrelo’ Summer Stage.
