Sokobanja’s hunting grounds, managed by the HA ‘Falcon’ and the PC ‘Serbia Forests’, are rich in small and large game. Passionate hunters can try their hand at hunting rabbits, pheasants, partridges, quail, forest snipe, wild boar and roe deer. Deer game was reintroduced to these areas with the assistance of the PC ‘Serbia Forests’. The deer settled in Sokobanja’s mountains, primarily on mountain Bukovik.
Hunting at hunting grounds is carried out in accordance with the law, and is carried out in an organized manner, according to the regulations of qualified organizations and institutions, Hunting Association ‘Falcon’ and PC ‘Serbia Forests’. For all the information regarding the hunting season and the issuing of hunting permits, please contact the HA ‘Falcon’ by phone at: +381 18 830 226.
Both types of fishing, river and lake fishing, are very attractive. Besides the great number of species of white fish in the upper part of the flow of the Moravica River, the true experts in this sport can also try their hand at catching brown stream trout, according to the ‘catch and release’ principle. When it comes to fishing on the lake, you don’t have to be a professional. It is enough to cast the bait and the catch is there. Lake Bovan is one of the richest Serbian lakes with distinguished species of fish: catfish, perch, carp, grass carp, silver carp, chub, perch, tench and species of white fish: silver carp, bream, yellow-eyed bream, common bleak.
The Association of Sport Fishermen ‘Moravica’ takes care of the condition of the fish stock in the river and both lakes, and the issuance of fishing permits. For all the information regarding the process of issuing fishing licenses, please contact the association by phone at: +381 64 27 18 547.
